Buskin was established in 2009 by Hilary Dawson & Sarah Mackay. We aim to bring individuals together to work creatively, exploring their personal stories and experiences.

Using a blend of theatre and art/craft-based activities, we encourage people to interpret and share their experiences in unusual or unexpected ways. Each piece of work is unique and shaped by the group's discoveries, as we place equal emphasis on the process and the finished product. As a result of working in an atmosphere of trust, humour and challenge, strong friendships often develop and extend beyond the projects.

Buskin works with people of all ages and backgrounds in a variety of settings. Previous projects have included an original theatre performance, a piece of community art and
an internet-based web resource.
